GREATER SNOHOMISH FAMILY GUIDE

Local Libraries to Add to Your

Family Fun List

Current hours, addresses and links to storytimes and classes

Libraries are one of my favorite easy family outings. You can browse books, spend a little time in the children’s area and check the calendar for storytimes, crafts and other programs before you go. I pulled together library locations so you can quickly compare locations and regular public hours.

A few tips that make library trips easier

  • Open the event listing before you go and confirm registration, age range and location.
  • Bring your library card if you plan to check out books, but families can still browse and attend many public programs without checking anything out.
  • Let each child choose one book for fun and one book about something they are curious about.
  • Check the holiday closure section during November and December.
Save this guide: Check each official calendar again before attending a class or storytime. Some programs require registration or are designed for a particular age group.
